Update

Hi Everyone, We've had a busy couple of weeks with my daughter, Charlotte having her first birthday earlier this month and in case you're wondering, yes she was very spoilt!!! Well, Term 4 is underway, which means that Christmas is nearly upon us.. There's only 66 days to Christmas and only 41 more days that the Stampin' Up Mini Catalogue is available - if you haven't already seen it, view it online at http://catalogs.shoplocal.com/stampinup/index.aspx?pagename=shopmain&storeid=1039381 I've realised that I need to start working on my Christmas cards and also to complete the scrapbook from our first family holiday earlier this year. So its going to be my mission in the very near future to spend as much time as I can on these projects. This is, of course, in amongst the usual 'mum' and household jobs. I've been spending a lot of time in the garden the past 2 weeks and I have to admit, it looks pretty good. Most of the good work is due to the installation of our huge patio - it makes such a difference to our house! Well, I'm going to post some details on a technique called 'rock & roll' soon. I recently demonstrated it at a workshop with great success and it works for lots of different stamp sets. So keep your eyes peeled for it!

christmas cardmaking...

with the silly sesason fast approaching, i thought i'd share my first xmas card for the year..
for obvious reasons, i'm not going to post all the xmas cards otherwise my family & friends won't get any surprises..

here goes.....

Ok, its taken me a while to get back to setting up my blog... i wanted to have a lot more on it before i gave out the address to ppl... anyway, i've decided to tell everyone my blog address, in the hopethat it will motivate me to actually post some new cards.... well i can make lots of excuses, but ur not here to read them but to see my cards, so here's some cards i've been making over the past few months....

these cards are using the 'greetings galore' set, a mixture of s/up card and the ribbon is some that i had in my craft room... i quickly took this photo and didn't preview it, hence the reasonn its all wonky! :)

this card is using the 'loads of love' truck... and some of double sided scrapbooking paper

an oldy, but a goldy (meaning that we made this card at my very 1st w/shop), whilst you can't really see it too clearly, this is using the 'heartfelt thanks' set, versamark with pastels and the 'watercolour joy' wheel for the background.

a couple of cute cards made with the 'nice & easy notes' set
