Gift Boxes

Hi All,

Last year I downloaded some templates from My Time Made Easy and I've finally started using them, and yes I know it's taken me a while lol.

Anyway, these are some simply decorated versions of the "In a Pinch" box.

I'm planning on filling these up with choccies or nuts and giving them out as Thank you / Christmas gifts to the girls' teachers.

Craft Thyme Christmas Extravaganza 2010

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday was the Craft Thyme Christmas Extravaganza Fair here in Perth and it was the day for Andrea and my first ever Craft fair! Boy were we nervous but extremely excited!!

Here's a few pics from the day:

Tucked in our stall we also had a "Make and Take" Table were customers could make and take home a Christmas card (designed and prepared in kit form by Andrea, isn't she a gem!)

It was a great but tiring day! We met lots of new people and both of us were able to put faces to many online friends which was fantastic!!

If you weren't able to make it, or didn't buy something whilst you were @ the Fair, please email me any queries you have.

Bright Wedding Card

Hi All,

Today's scheduled post gives us a break from the Christmas cards (don't worry, there'll be more of them soon!)

A couple of months ago, I was contacted to help a bride-to-be with her menus and placecards for her wedding. This is one of the cards that I took as a sample and we basically went with this design for the menu card. The menu was to be printed on white paper and adhered inside.

New version of my Punch Art Penguin

Hi Everyone,

Another scheduled post....

Ages ago, I shared a green punch art penguin with you, and I totally forgot about the red version I made a few weeks ago....

Here's the new red penguin:

And here's the link to the green penguin if you can't remember it!

Dasher Card from We Stamp for Lara Tutorial

Hi Everyone,
Back here, I posted the details on a great fundraiser for Lara, a young girl who needs some special equipment. Anyway, I joined and this my version of the card from the Dasher Tutorial.

Mmmm I think I need some more practice with sponging the shimmer paint! It's looking a little blotchy!! lol :)

My Christmas Medallion

Hi All,

Well this is one of the scheduled posts for the week, and I thought I'd show you a quick Christmas Card using the Medallion Stamp set.

I've actually used the retired colours "Ruby Red" & "Garden Green" as my base colours, but you can easily substitute any colours you like.

And here's a close up of the centre - I simply stamped the Medallion onto some scrap card, punched out a circle in the centre and adhered it with a dimensional to my card - not bad for an easy 'extra' on your card... Technically, I think it can be classed as 'spotlighting' a part of the card.

Yep, another Kimono Kid

Hi All,

Yep, I'm sorry, here's another card with a Kimono Kid stamp! Don't worry, I only stamped about a dozen of them so I will run out of the to colour and use soon.... hehhehe

Well, this ribbon I've had for so long in my stash... I'm a real ribbon hoarder and bought a pack of asian inspired ribbons that I've never used! They are even self adhesive, so all I need to do is cut, peel and stick - pretty lazy of me hey!

Ok, enough chitchat, I bet you'd really like to see my card by now so here it is:

Extra detail has been added with the Polka Dot embossing folder and my Big Shot, the background stamp 'Medallion', and the corner rounder punch.

And to avoid it being so long between posts, I'm setting up some scheduled posts of some of the cards I've made lately... There's not as many as I'd like but then, who really has all the time they would like for stamping, crafting or any other hobby... lol :)

Stamp and Stack November Results

Hi Everyone,

Sorry about the lack of posts lately... Time seems to be flying past even quicker than normal lately, and we had a really busy week out and about last week so there just wasn't time for much stamping.

On Friday night, I held my Stamp and Stack for November and we made a start on Christmas cards. Thank you to the wonderful ladies that joined me at my local Family Centre (yes I needed a larger room than my house had for us) and I think it went well..... That is if you don't think about the 2 new punches that were playing up!! grr I wasn't happy and I'm waiting to here back from Stampin' Up! on Monday about that..

Anyway, these are the 2 cards designs and we made 5 of each:

This was a clean and simple card inspired by a template on the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator website. The bauble is from the Tree Trimmings Stamp set and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments (how I love this set! 24 phrases in 1 set!)

And this card uses the Delightful Decorations Stamp Set and the Ornament Punch. It also has some Riding Hood Red Ribbon that is available for FREE if you purchase this stamp set and punch together until 30th November. I also spritzed this card with the new shimmer paint mixed with a little surgical spirit but that doesn't really show up in the photo.

These cards will also be for sale at the upcoming Craft Thyme Fair on Nov 20th. Make sure you pop down for a looksie and grab some Christmas gifts for your loved ones (or yourself!)

Well, I'm off outside to soak up some sunshine and hopefully shake off this sore throat before it develops into the cold my girls have (us mums cannot afford to get sick can we!?!?)

Have I told you about the Craft Thyme Christmas Fair?

Hi All,

On November 20th, I'm taking part in the Craft Thyme Christmas Gift & Craft Fair with Andrea.

I'm really excited and looking forward to taking part in my first ever Craft Fair! I've ever only been a helper or a browser at fairs, I've never sold my own work before.

We will be there to promote Stampin' Up! and all it has to offer. We will have cards and gifts for sale and some hostess information packs so if you have ever thought about hosting a workshop or joining Stampin' Up!, why not come down and have a chat to us.

We'll be there from 9.30am-4pm so come along and see us!! (Admission is only $4).

You can see more information about the other stall holders here.

Be back in a moment, with the Stamp and Stack November projects
