Class Cards & some news!

Hi Everyone,

I'm doing a bit of catching up today and realised that I hadn't shared what we made at the classes this month. I'm now running 2 classes each month, one is my normal class at the Forest Lakes Family Centre, and the other is a private class for a group at one of their homes.

Regular Class:

Whoops - didn't get my bag finished for the photo shoot!

Private Class:

At the end of May, I'm starting my first ever round of scrapbooking classes, so if you are based locally (Canning Vale area) and would like to attend, please email me for more information.

Also this Saturday, I will be having a stall with Pretty Little Things, Missy and Moo and Swee Tees and Cu Tees and many others at the St Aidan's Church in Byford, please come down and support all the local artisans that will be there from 9am-4pm. Best thing is, it's all indoors, so it's on rain, hail or shine :)

And make sure you come back to check out my 'facelift' from May 1st. In celebration of my birthday in May, I've arranged new business logo, which means everything on my blog, facebook page and business cards & signage will all be matching! I'm very excited!! :) There will also be some special offers during the month too!

Starter Kit Changes

Hi Everyone,

Long time no speak hey! I have been busy working behind the scenes with 2 invites orders, a market and organising something special for you to celebrate my birthday next month.

Today, I wanted to let you know that there's some changes coming up for the Stampin' Up! Starter kit.

If you have been thinking about joining Stampin' Up! but maybe a little daunted by the size of the Starter Kit, from 1st May, you will be able to purchase a fully customisable Starter Kit for just $169.

You will be able to choose up to $235 worth of any Stampin’ Up! products and you will also receive a business supplies pack valued at $80. The total value of the new Starter kit will be $315 and has free shipping!

I’m waiting to hear exactly what is in the business pack but will let you know from 1st May.

However, the current Starter Kit is available until 30th April - this kit contains $610 worth of products for $289, which is still a fantastic purchase. The stamp sets, cardstock and inks can all be customised to your needs. And this kit also contains a business pack including catalogues, order forms, and lots of other items to help you start up your Stampin' Up! business.

What to do with my retired DSP sampler?

Hi Everyone,

In this big clean out that continues of my crafting space, yes I'm actually clearing some things out that I haven't used and it's going into a box for sale.

Anyway, whilst I was clearing out a draw, I found a retired paper sampler I bought a year or so ago... Now if you haven't seen a sampler, they are 3inch squares of every single paper that Stampin' Up! had available at the time and they are kept on a metal ring so they can be easily viewed.

So I had a play around and came up with these 2 cards.... Got to say, I'm pretty happy with them!

More Custom Ordered Cards

Hi Everyone,

This is another custom ordered card requested by one of my facebook fans.

I had great fun making this one!

The 2 birds are raised off the page with a couple of dimensionals and although the pic doens't show it too well, the "thank you" is 2 layers, one very vanilla and one pool party layer.

This card was requested by a friend for a Men's 40th who loves motorbikes.... Mmmm what to do when I don't own a single motorbike stamp! Well the answer is google!

So I found this image, printed it, and then added some black heat embossed powder via my versamark pen and of course I had to bloke up the card with some Always Artichoke card embossed with the Houndstooth Embossing folder.

If you would like a special custom ordered card or papercraft gift, please contact me.

What we made at the February & March Classes

Hi Everyone,

Well, I know February's class was a while ago... I've been so busy making goodies for the markets and re-arranging the craft room, I totally forgot I hadn't blogged about my classes!

We made 3 sets of Chocolate Slider Boxes and co-ordinating cards.

All ready for Valentine's Day

Then at the March Class, it was all about Easter, so we made these 3 gift baskets with co-ordinating cards.

I've also started a new class with a group of ladies, which was very exciting! They are all so excited about making some cards and scrapbooking and the icing on the cake is that I'm a Stampin' Up! demo.

And coming up in Term 2, is my first series of scrapbooking classes! Stay tuned for more info on that!

If you are interested in any of my classes, please email me and I'll be happy to discuss them with you. :)

Personalised B'day Present

Hi Everyone,

Last month my girls were invited to a b'day party... So in keeping with recent gifts for their friends and considering the b'day girls' big sister received one of my personalised notebooks last year, we thought the little sis might like her own notebook too.

And this was the card:

We knew Tahlia's favourite colour was purple, but had no idea the butterflies would be such a hit too! I just love making these notebooks and will be teaching a group of kids how to make their own next Thursday.

If you are interested in coming along to the class with your kids, all the details are here or please email me for more info.
